Choir With No Name - Brighton
The Choir with No Name have been successfully running choirs and building joyful communities with homeless and marginalised people since 2008. We currently have five choirs: in Birmingham, Liverpool, London, Brighton (run in partnership with Brighton Housing Trust) and Cardiff (run in partnership with The Wallich). They were founded on the premise that singing makes you feel good; it distracts you from all the nonsense in life and helps you to build confidence, skills and genuine, long lasting friendships.

We will be helping again the ChoirWithNoName to get prepared before The Big Christmas Singalong. This was a well received community mission that warmed-up lots of good Brighton GoodGym-ers last year.

The task is at Brighton Dome - Concert Hall. This is really a few minutes walking distance from our usual GoodGym meeting point in Brighton at the Queen Victoria Statue (1 Marlborough Pl, Brighton and Hove, Brighton BN1 1UB).

So, let's meet at the statue and walk together to the Dome (back entrance via the Pavilion Gardens) where we will be welcomed by Anna or another lovely Choir volunteer😊). IF IN DOUBT – CALL THE CHOIR PHONE 07825 079 132

A member of GoodGym Task Force will be your GoodGym reference for this community mission as I will be already inside the Dome and will meet you slightly later.

IMPORTANT: Timing!

4:15 PM Meet the ChoirWithNoName's host at the back entrance of the Dome, where we will receive wrist bands - ie our pass to be recognised as visitors inside the Dome;

4:30 -6:30PM We will help the ChoirWithNoName in the Dome's foyer by setting up tables for their dinner and serving food to the choir members before their last warming up prior their big!

6:30 -7:15PM Free time until meeting Sarah at the front entrance of the Dome. She has your tickets for the The Big Xmas Singalong

7:30PM it is showtime! So, just enjoy the ChoirWithNoName Big Xmas Singalong.

What to bring? • Your Good Gym Smile • You Good Gym T-shirt • Your Singalong ticket if attending the performance (Sarah is the tickets holder)! • Some cash if you wish to make a donation. All profits from the night will support The Choir with No Name Brighton, run in partnership with BHT Sussex.
