As part of the Great Manchester Walking Festival and given there is another bank holiday, I thought it would be nice to get out for another walk.

I have suggested to cover some of the Manchester Green Trail Stage 2 that goes from Clayton Park to Boggart Hole Clough, although we probably won't finish the whole route. The whole route is approximately 8 miles (~12-13 km) covering some of the wonderful green spaces in Manchester. Please feel free to join for some or part of the walk too.

We will meet near the Clayton Park entrance on Ashton New Road opposite the Grove Inn (What3Words: ///gladiators.fired.punk) for 10am to start the walk.

Dogs are welcome and it should be buggy friendly for bringing kids along. Please feel free to invite any other friends or family who may wish to join too.

Please wear weather-appropriate clothes and shoes. It often rains in Manchester so always be prepared.
