It's Wednesday night and we're doing it right...it's also our group run night!

In this group run, we will be running from Old Spike Peckham to assist Richard and Valentina at the Salvation Army Camberwell Corps on Lomond Grove. We are also celebrating the partnership of GoodGym and Athletic Brewing so we'll be heading back to the Old Spike Roastery post-session to raise a can of alcohol-free beer!

New to GoodGym Southwark?

Not to worry, it can be daunting coming to your first group run, but we are so welcoming whether you're just starting out as a runner or have been running for years. We welcome all!

Here's the important information - the "Where, When and What":

๐Ÿ“ We meet at Old Spike Peckham between 18:30-18:45. You can also meet us at the task: Salvation Army Camberwell Corps, 105 Lomond Grove, London SE5 7HG at 19:15.

โŒš 18:30-18:45 (leaving at 18:45 latest). If meeting at the task, be there for 19:15. We will be back in Peckham by 20:15 (latest).

โœ… There will be access to Old Spike Peckham, so you can drop your bags and use their toilets before we head out.

๐Ÿƒ๐Ÿƒโ€โ™€๏ธ After a quick warm-up, we run together as a group. If there are loads of us, there will be a back marker to ensure no one is left behind. On this run, we will be running 2.9k each way. Running at a medium pace to get to the task in 20 minutes. We will spend 40-45 minutes doing the tasks mentioned above (or as much as we can).

Advisable: Bring a headtorch ๐Ÿ”ฆ as it's getting dark for the task and your ๐Ÿงค gardening gloves.

Options are available to run between 3km and 6km in total

Remember that we run to and from the task, so you'll only be running for half this distance in one go.

This is a standard GoodGym group run. If you can't run for more than 15mins without stopping or you're worried about any aspect of the session, contact us.
