We're back for our monthly session with the super-friendly Friends of Danson Park (FODP), helping to maintain the Woodland Walk and other areas of the park. π³π²
We're likely to be spreading wood chippings or cutting back hedges or overgrowth to keep the park looking at its best.
We've worked on the Woodland Walk lots before, and it's always a great workout with the reward of tea and coffee afterwards β!
It's fine to leave early if you don't want to commit to the full two hours.
There may not be a GoodGym Bexley leader at this task, but the FODP organisers will make you feel very welcome. Look out for other GoodGymers and perhaps one of you can write short report and add photos of you at the task via the 'Mission Accomplished' email that will land in your inbox later in the day.
π Meeting point : 10am, at the toilet block adjacent to Danson House, and next to the sign marking the start of the Woodland Walk. (Please note, there are other toilets near the children's playground, but it's not those!)
Please bring gardening gloves if you have them π§€.
This task is ideal if you are running or walking at Bexley parkrun πΆββοΈπΆββοΈπββοΈπββοΈ.

The Friends of Danson Park have been in touch to say that they are cancelling this session for health and safety reasons.
As an alternative you might like to consider GoodGym Greenwich's conservation session with the Friends of Oxleas Wood: https://www.goodgym.org/happenings/conservation-at-oxleas-woods
The next Danson Park session will be on Saturday 14 February.
