HOPE Nottingham
how we help Hope Nottingham's vision is to 'inspire and grow communities of Hope throughout Nottingham and beyond'. We are a Christian charity, which supports those of all faith or none. We work in shared mission with local churches and community groups, empowering volunteers to serve those in need in neighbourhoods all around Nottingham. Hope House in Beeston and our newly developed Carlton Community Hub have become one-stop community support centres, working in partnership with many local agencies, to provide places of trust and transformation for local people. Hope Nottingham operates many neighbourhood Foodbanks across the city, helping people out of crisis and directing people to life-changing support. Some of these centres are beginning to develop the same model as Hope House to meet the physical, material and spiritual needs of local communities.

Kickstart 2025 with a GoodGym Nottingham task!

We will be returning to the Meadows Foodbank for our first Wednesday task of 2025, combining our good deed with an optional short run beforehand. Why not come and join to do good and get fit?

New members are always welcome and this is the perfect time to come and find out what GoodGym is all about!

Below are all the details.

Here's the plan...

🕙 Meet us outside Bridgeway Hall Methodist Church at 6.30pm on Wednesday 8th January 2025.

🏃‍♂‍ After some quick introductions we will go on a gentle jog for about 20 minutes in the local area. This will be a very easy paced jog and we will always have someone at the back to ensure no one is left behind.

💪 After a quick stretch, we will head into the Meadows Foodbank (located in the Bridgeway Hall Methodist Centre) at 7pm to help them with some tasks. This may involve moving boxes of food, stacking it on shelves, cleaning or whatever other jobs Mark may have in store for us.

👋 After an hour of work in the foodbank, we will say our goodbyes and head home having had a fun and fulfilling evening!

We look forward to seeing you there!

Can't make it until 7pm? No problem, just sign up and let us know beforehand either via message on this page or on our WhatsApp / Facebook page

As we know from previous visits, the foodbank relies heavily on donations. If you are able to bring along anything to donate, they would be very grateful

If you have any questions about GoodGym at all, please do not hesitate to get in touch.
