New Eltham Litter Pick with Roots4Life

Roots4Life is a community action project set up to tackle childhood obesity. They teach cooking skills, horticulture and the importance of nutrition and host a community fridge and regular community meals.

We've done some tree and hedgerow maintenance here and there's always a lovely group of volunteers helping out.

This week they will be leading a litter pick in the local streets. If you're available do come along - meet at Roots4Life at 11am to pick up a litter picker, gloves and hoops and rubbish bags and after a session cleaning up the local area come back for a coffee and cake afterwards about 12pm!
