Springfield Park
Springfield Park is located between Stamford Hill and the River Lee, with views over the Lea Valley. The Park provides lots of opportunities for the local community to access recreational and sporting activities, and connect with nature. In 2017 a restoration project kicked off to restore the park to its former glory. But there is still more to do to enhance the park for the local community and create more habitat for biodiversity. We would love your help!

This is the third part of our mission to transform an unused area in Springfield Park. For this session we will be finishing off the outdoor classroom next to the newly painted shelter and create a habitat environment by building hedges and loggeries. (We recently enjoyed the first session of painting the shelter, read how we got on here).

Please bring gardening gloves if you have them.

Hi Dan - please can I join this run as a first timer to say hello and try it out? I used to go to Goodgym in Liverpool but haven't been for a few years.

Great, thanks Dan. I've just signed up. I live in Walthamstow, so I'll probably join for the run to Springfield Park and the task, then I'll run home from the task if that's okay? See you Saturday!

Options are available to run between 3km and 6km in total

Remember that we run to and from the task, so you'll only be running for half this distance in one go.

This is a standard GoodGym group run. If you can't run for more than 15mins without stopping or you're worried about any aspect of the session, contact us.
