14 of East London's finest gathered at GG Newham's base.
Had the pleasure of greeting two first timers, Katie and Farhad. Starting their taining and volunteering journey with us. Big up!
Then our random question efforts, courtesy of James this week. "What animal would you least like to see extinct?" Starting with potentially the best answer from Edoardo, bees - i was definitely going to say that, maybe. Turns out Phoebe hates animals, wants to see them all extinct. Why Phoebe, WHY?! Kev it transpires loves hedgehogs and has expert knowledge on them. There you go.
Whipped it over the 2miles to Manorfield Primary School. Furniture shifting for the kids, apparently they think little elves come in during the night. Yup - that's us.
We moved a heck of a lot, moving a whole classroom from upstairs to downstairs. Plus a whole bunch of other stuff for the trash. Was a pretty hardcore workout actually. Ran a tiny bit overtime - but all good.
Thanks for your your strong efforts, the school will look sharper and be able to deliver better education as a result (that's the plan!)
Have a great week, enjoy next week without me and see you'll in a fortnight.
