Best Served Chilled
3 GoodGymers made their way to help an isolated older person in Southwark.
- Wednesday, 30th of August 2017
In this chilly, rainy afternoon, three GG runners – Clare, James and Gosia popped round to Mr P’s flat in Southwark to help him in moving his fridge in the kitchen.
After a short welcome and instructions given by Mr P, we quickly proceed to action. To move the fridge, we needed to find a new space for a kitchen cupboard (which was temporarily moved near the entrance to the kitchen) and microwave (eventually placed on a cupboard near the sink). Then -- just a few smooth, professional maneuvers and the fridge arrived at its place of destination.
Mr P was really happy with the final outcome and really impressed that we managed to handle this task so quickly. He also promised to think of any other tasks GG might help him with in the future, so we might see each other again soon! Cool!
