GoodGym York Christmas Special
7 GoodGymers made their way 10km to help their local community in York.
- Monday, 4th of December 2017
- Led by Aron Fulton
Seven Goodgym folks assembled in Woodthorpe to assist the good people of the York Rotary Club with one of their Santa routes
We need someone tall but not too skinny for the Santa suit.
We all looked at our feet but Paul said he would give it a go and perhaps we could rotate Santa duties- in the event he liked it too much and never asked to be relieved.
We crisscrossed the roads and side streets of the estate so many times we got a bit disorientated but the Rotary guys knew what they were doing.
Paul got through 2 boxes of Quality Street - he said he been giving them to the children but that Santa suit looked tighter at the end to me.
After 2 and a half hours of Santa action we disbanded and headed home - the Rotary guys said we were ahead of schedule and had injected a little bit more pace into their usual route!
