A nifty 9 runners covered 9km and really cleaned up.
This week we had blazing sunshine and a fresh new face amongst us - welcome Tracey!!
Our mission was to get rid of lazy litter louts trails of trash in and around the beautiful green spaces of Bournemouth.
We began going west to a park area in Westbourne. Extra care was taken as the gang were running with litterpickers in hand! Beer cans and butts were on the menu here....
From there we ran through the gardens into town when the fast food picnickers had left their mark. We got a nice should out from some passing people. Always great to have fans!
We carried on up to horseshoe common - lots of odds and ends to bin up there. And the gang soon found their bags were full. Someone mentioned they felt they hadn't run much.....so......we binned the bags and set off towards Meryick Park. A longer run back with an impromptu mini circuits sessions thrown in for good measure. Everyone loves a high knees drill?!!!
Racing back to base at Flirt Cafe the gang congratulated each other on another job well done.
Next week we will welcome our neeeeeew leader!!! Task details will be listed on the website shortly.
If this is my last run report....YOU GUYS HAVE BEEN AMAZING!!!!!!!!!!!! YOU PUT THE GOOD INTO GOODGYM BOURNEMOUTH!!!
