Nominations are now open for the 2025 Sean Coxhead Inspiring Individual Award — GoodGym's annual celebration of GoodGymers whose spirit, impact, and kindness have shone brightly over the past year

Do you know a GoodGymer who has truly gone above and beyond for their community? Someone whose dedication has made a meaningful difference, or whose kindness has inspired others? Now is your chance to recognise their incredible contribution.

The Sean Coxhead Inspiring Individual Award honours members of the GoodGym community who have demonstrated exceptional commitment, compassion, and resilience in 2025. Named in memory of Sean Coxhead, a much-loved GoodGymer who passed away in 2019 after a courageous battle with cancer, this award celebrates those who carry forward his legacy of service and heartfelt generosity.

2023: Louise Cheong – GoodGym York

2024: Anne Fauconnier-Bank - GoodGym Woking

Anyone can submit a nomination, and submissions will be judged on the following criteria:

  • Impact – How significant was the difference this person made?
  • Dedication – How did they go above and beyond as a GoodGym community member?
  • Overcoming adversity – Did they face challenges or barriers in achieving what they did?
  • Kindness – How did they show extraordinary kindness, compassion, or effort?

Nominations will be reviewed by the GoodGym central team, and a shortlist will be judged by a panel of three special guests.

A few tips for your nomination:

  • Please use specific examples and give as much detail as possible.
  • Each person can only make one nomination.
  • This award recognises activity completed during 2025, so please focus your nomination on this year.
  • Each answer has a word limit of 250 words.
  • Nominations close on Wednesday 3rd December.
  • The winner will be announced before Christmas.
