Improve our local community green space

Date and time
18:30 - 21:00For this session it's our group run night and we'll be going to our local Tiny Forest to help out followed by a social at Peckham Bowls.
Tiny Forest brings the benefits of woodland right into the heart of our cities and urban spaces: connecting people with nature, helping to mitigate the impacts of climate change, as well as providing nature-rich habitat to support urban wildlife.
After helping out at Tiny Forest we will be heading to Peckham Bowls in Peckham Rye Park where we've got two rinks booked! There's a bar at bowls and we will order in pizza from Yard Sale.
New to GoodGym Southwark?
It can be daunting coming to your first group run but we are a nice welcoming bunch! All abilities welcome, whether you're a new runner or have been running for years.
Important Information
We are aiming for an earlier than usual 18:30 start this week from Old Spike Cafe in Peckham. You can leave bags in the cafe and use their toilets before we head out if you need to. But please note we won't be coming back to the cafe until after we have finished bowls (~9pm). If meeting at the task, be there for 18:55. Precise location on what3words.
After a warm-up, we run together as a group. If there are loads of us, there will be a back marker to ensure no one is left behind. On this run, we will be running ~2.5km around the park to Tiny Forest. We will try and blast through the tasks Anna has for us in 30 minutes before heading over to Peckham Bowls for 19:30. We'll head back to Old Spike Cafe after we have finished up bowls (~9pm) so anyone can pick up anything they have left.
Bring gardening gloves if you have them.
