This project will focus on increasing the spread of our snowdrop meadow. In the last two weeks of the season we will be digging and redistributing the snowdrop bulbs to create an even more magnificent display next Spring! ๐Ÿ˜ This combined with litter picking and general tidying around the cemetery gardens.

Please note that this community mission has been cancelled.

Continuing the work we've been doing helping the Friends of St James Gardens, this time with a Saturday session.

Friends of St James Gardens need help in getting our beautiful Cathedral gardens looking great! This will involve getting on top of some tasks that have been sadly neglected for a while, taking weeds up around the Huskinsson monument, weeding the entrance paths on St James Road and tunnel entrance on St James Road, cutting back ivy and brambles from the graves stones, pruning shrubs and roses. As well as obligatory litter picking and maybe some re painting of benches and litter bins, hopefully over several regular sessions there will be plenty to get stuck into! ๐Ÿ˜๐ŸŒฟ

All tools will be provided but you may prefer to bring your own gloves.

How are you getting there?
