We are local residents who take on small projects to improve the area we live in. We litter pick and tend to the community orchard and successfully campaigned for new play equipment in the playground.

We have been asked to help bring the planters back under control! This involves cutting back shrubs, digging up invasive 3-cornered leeks and cutting back a spiky thorny shrub. There are 2 large planters (5m by 2m each) one contains a tree, and both are very overgrown. The local volunteer group want to get the planters under control so they can host a planting day of winter bulbs.

N.B: Please bring protective gloves if you are able to as there are some very sharp thorns, some secateurs or small hand tools if you are able and a head torch!

The planters are 1m high and some of us may need to climb in!

Please arrive 5mins before the task start time so that we are ready to start at 6:30pm
