After a 1st mission on a sunny Saturday morning, I walked to my mission that was not too far. I arrived at the block of flats where i was going to help Mrs J. I rang the intercom several times then rang her phone, but no answer...was it going to one of those missions where nobody is at home? Then a lady came to the door and opened the door for me...this person said she was Mrs J and asked me to follow her into the dinning area where other people were waiting. This did not feel right as this lady was asking where my other half was, then I noticed the chef and he asked me if i was her son before pointing the office of the carers. They took me upstairs to the flat where Mrs J was have a sleep in her lounge chair...she had forgotten. I was there to unpack cardboard boxes. Mrs J had a few in the lounge, her main bedroom and one in the kitchen. I went through them and asked where i should put the items. Some boxes were left as they were as Mrs J said she will go through them later as she has some sorting to to with them as books(keep or not to keep). i found one on the floor which could be useful for the good gm reports as it has more than 6000 jokes and puns!! I emptied to big boxes from the main bedroom which had towels, hand towels and frames. Frames put away in the lounge area, and all the bathroom items put in a cupboard. Other boxes had a mixture of paperwork, teddy bears, toiletries, kitchen items which I put away in the correct areas of the flat. Are you getting card-bored? Not at all!!Once all the boxes that required being emptied, i sorted loose items in the living area and placed them where they should be instead of on the couch or in the middle of the floor. Mrs J was chatty and also smoking away her cigarettes like a rock star...which to say I put away classic tapes from Elvis , London pop music and old school rock songs.
