Olivia and Sam met at the Junior parkrun in Peckham Rye to help the team run the event.
Olivia gave out the finish tokens after a slight hiccup with the tokens falling out of place. The situation was rectified.
Sam was timekeeping with Isaac, who was doing his second parkrun volunteering as he is currently doing his DoE Bronze award.
We clocked 108 kids with the first kid, Archie almost beating his PB and course PB...but missed out by five seconds. He was on track after the first lap...but I guess it's harder when lapping the field on the second lap...still, kudos to him...2k in 6:47 is roughly the same time you would cover 500 metres by walking.
