A boat trip to remember

This morning I visited Mrs D. She was feeling cold as her warmest bedding and winter clothes all went into the wash. She said it was lucky that she didn't end up in the washer too!!... 😅 Perhaps I should have called my report "the last of the winter shivers"! She was showing me a photo of her younger brother and, as we were rummaging through some papers, we came across this article in the local newspaper, about the time when she and her friends from the Day Centre went on a river boat along the Thames. All documented and with photographs too! That was such a lovely trip that Mrs D still remembers very fondly.
