A bunch of weeds
16 GoodGymers made their way 6.0km to help their local community in Tower Hamlets.

WIth the summer holidays taking their toll on numbers this week GoodGym Tower Hamlets took a small but resolute group of 16 runners down to Stepney City Farm.
After a faster than usual 2-2.5km run down to the farm the team set about weeding the site. With the lovely summer weather giving the tricky impostors ample opportunity to spread and root in every crack and bed we hard our work cut out. Splitting into 4 teams we cleared wheel barrow after wheel barrow of offending growth leaving the site in a much tidier, weed free state and giving the donkey's plenty to chew on.
After 25 minutes of hard graft Tom took us next door to Stepney Green where we undertook intervals of hard running mixed with animal themed strength workouts including duck walks, frog jumps and bear crawls. Not quite your average City Farm animals, but still, the idea was nice ;)
After a gentle run back to the Arch Gallery and a good stretch we headed off into the night.
