The weather is definitely better on Thursdays - glorious sunshine instead of Tuesday's torrential rain and gale-force winds.
A run group, a walk/run group and a walking group all went into a pub. But before that, they headed to Brunswick Cemetery for Thursday special group run, with Art making it extra special as we celebrated his 100th good deed (and he brought home-baked cookies).
Jo was in the park waiting with an empty one-tonne dumpy sack that we set about filling with brambles, bin(dweed) bags for the bindweed and soil and other weeds emptied out behind a tree that "needs the soil".
The sticky bud/sticky willy was being extracted from the rose bed whilst the bindweed was carefully dug out and turned into a monster Ood beard.
The paved circle was looking spick and span after Richard, Vaguely Northern Darren and Phill had scraped and swept and the GoodGym version of the mike drop was born - the handbrush drop. Tidy.
We were soon back at workout eating Art's cookies.
