A Crate help for the foodbank
3 GoodGymers made their way to help their local community in Leicester.

Three Goodgymers went to the Trussel Trust's South Leicestershre Foodbank warehouse where the food is collected in from businesses. Today we were making up crates of vegetarian food for 2 people. Kerri met us and took Lisa, Jimmy, and Nick up to the top floor where a large table had all the items required, each in their own crate. We then used a shopping trolley to move our crate around the table adding the required items before stacking it onto a pallet ready to go out to a foodbank collection point. We filled 20 crates which made a full pallet. We then refilled all the items on the table ready for the next volunteers to make up some more crates. Having previously helped at a distribution point it was good to now see where all those crates of food came from.
