A Cut Above The Rest
4 GoodGymers made their way to help their local community in Crewe.

Yesterday, 4 of our lovely members spent their afternoon down at the Wishing Well giving some TLC to the lawns, raised beds and surrounding area of Jubilee House.
Karen, Nigel, Pam and Barry did a variety of tasks but the main task they had to undertake was taming the meadow back into a lawn! Due to the wet weather, it had been a couple of weeks since the grass had received it's cut, so it was a bit of a task to get it back under control but with a bit of Goodgym magic, it was soon looking fabulous again.
But one task isn't enough for this lovely lot, so as well as mowing the lawn, they did all the weeded, watered all the plants and even did a litter pick around the centre.
The caterpillars have been out in convoy and clearly haven't been able to resist a chomp on the cabbages and sprouts, so sadly they are no more. However, the other fruit and veg is flourishing and being used in the centre for their fabulous meals on wheels delivery service.
Another lovely afternoon spent in lovely company.
Well done gang - you're completely awesome! xxx
