A little more conversation, a little less plastic
3 GoodGymers made their way to help the Portsmouth Residents and Visitors in Portsmouth.

Maxine, Tracy and I spent a sunny lunchtime chatting and beach-cleaning by the hotwalls in Old Portsmouth. At first glance there didn't appear to be much litter, but it didn't take long to realise that there was a lot of plastic amongst the pebbles and caught up in the seaweed. There were lots of plastic caps from drinks bottles and plastic cotton bud stalks. Maxine found a rusty pair of scissors which may have been in the sea for a while! This is certainly a place to return to again because it seems that the tide pushes a lot of debris up onto this little beach. And it's sheltered and warm in the sunshine!
