A Palette Of Blue!
7 GoodGymers made their way to help the Society of St James in Portsmouth.
- Tuesday, 7th of January 2020
- Led by Maxine VSG
Arriving a little damp, we were met by a very cosy, warm room and an offer of drinks and biscuits. Then upstairs to view the two rooms needing to be painted. Erin from SSJ had some rollers, palettes and a few brushes to get us going and we quickly sorted ourselves into two groups. Sarah got busy with the masking tape to give us lovely straight lines, Alex, Catherine, Maxine and Mel got rollering and Judy and Charlotte did the careful brush painting round the edges. In each room, there was a signature blue wall, a lighter colour on the other walls and white around the skirting boards. We made great progress with just some edging to complete. Another task is scheduled to complete this and move on to the next room in the near future.
