Mr T's block was set up for a prize fight when Kash and Sevan arrived. As Mr T led them out to the arena where there would be combating bindweed, one of his neighbours was already loudly commentating on the bout for a foreign TV station. Neither Kash or Sevan could make out what they were saying and the commentator didn't stop talking, nor turn the volume down throughout the 90 minute contest. They've got some stamina!

At the bell in the first round, the bindweed had the upper hand with a strong, seemingly impermeable defence. Kash and Sevan attacked from different sides and cut by cut, chinks appeared. Sevan found that it was growing all the way along Mr T's neighbour's fence to the left and up and over Mr T's back fence from Camden Council ground. Jabbing along the top of the fence with the shears, Sevan freed some of Mr T's plants which had managed to survive. The council owned bindweed was mostly out of reach, so it was punched back out of the ring for the council to battle another day.

On the other side of the garden, Kash was also rustling a giant tangle of bindweed that was climbing over the fence and discovered some ex-roses that had been overwhelmed by the bindweed's attack. On the brighter side, Mr T had some beautiful hanging baskets high on the wall, which Kash beat the vines off, liberating them for a few more months.

The judges of the match were a group of dogs who howled their approval or displeasure at Kash and Sevan. Again, not speaking dog, the GoodGym duo didn't know until the end if they were winning the rounds or not.

Finally, a clear and understandable message came through from the commentator. As the bindweed was weakened, not yet defeated, Kash and Sevan had won on a points decision. The bindweed will want a rematch to reclaim its title of the undisputed champion of Mr T's garden against a new set of opponents, so either GoodGym or Camden Council will need to step up to knock it out next time.
