A Tulip between 2(0000) Thorns/ Just another Brick in the Wall
6 GoodGymers made their way to help their local community in York.

- Led by Laura Barrett
Six Goodgymers ran, walked and cycled to help Green Lane Allotments to clear two disused allotment beds. We were welcomed with refreshments and then split into two groups to sort the two Allotments. Team Stone Wall (Leanne, Paul and Katie) went to one allotment. They moved some rocks and bricks from an old pond and made their own dry stone wall by the entrance (to be picked up for disposal at a later date. They then cut back some brambles and cleared some weeds. Team Brambles (Claire, James and Laura) cleared a second allotment of a large quantity of very spiky brambles and other weeds. Claire found some tulip bulbs underneath. We had a giant pile by the entrance by the time we'd finished.
