A wet wintry Wednesday at Windmill Hill City Farm
5 GoodGymers made their way to help the Windmill Hill City Farm in Bristol.
- Wednesday, 13th of January 2021
- Led by Shreena Parmar
We walked/ran/cycled to the farm and helped make the front part of the farm nice and clean by weeding and sweeping (garden hoes are extremely satisfying to use) . We filled two wheelbarrows. There's only so much we could do before we needed to go to work (well you know, go back home to work from home) so we shall continue another time.
Windmill Hill City Farm is fantastic community facility; it's great to be able to volunteer and maintain the outdoor spaces while it is closed to the public.
I saw a cute robin on my way home and managed to take a photo before it flew away :)
