After the cancellation of the Whale Island litter pick due to the new restrictions, Vicki and I decided to go over there for our morning stroll. Armed with our litter pickers and bags, we enjoyed the stroll up the foreshore collecting recyclables and general waste along the way. We came across and old abandoned boat and a plimsoll and wondered if the demise of the boat had been due to the plimsoll line being breached (tenuous I know). Anyway, Vicki decided the boat was far to big to fit into either bag but the plimsoll had seen its last leg. A fantastic start to the day on a beautiful autumn morning.
