all out of luck

Due to several unforeseen circumstances both Trainer James as Run Leader Peter (me!) were unable to attend the group run tonight. Since it was all last minute, it was impossible to arrange for cover, so cancelling the run was the only option left.

Messages were sent out to warn all those who signed up ( long live social media like WhatsApp!) and Beth kindly popped round to make sure those coming down without signing up would be made aware of the change in plans - give her a cheer!

So instead of the pre/on the run chat, see below for some recent news & upcoming items, in random order:

• last Thursday was the monthly GG social. Next month will be in Hackney / Tower Hamlets - in reach for a representation of the Redbridge crew?

• Ellie is doing well and growing exponentially (her own words!)

• Marian sent her thanks for sorting out her two old watertanks

• coming Sunday will be the Shoreditch 10k, anyone racing? A GG crew will also be helping out organising things in & around Shoreditch Park, Hackney

• and last but not least, Sunday week (21st) there is the Tough 10, Cancer Research' 10k trail run in Epping Forest, start & finish in Chingford, in case someone fancies a challenge
