All this eating made me go back four seconds
1 GoodGymer made their way to help the parkrun - Perry Hall in Birmingham.

Everyone was thinking about burning off the Christmas excess at Perry Hall parkrun today. So it was great to walk the course before running it to get a few more steps in to burn off the huge amount of chocolate in my body.
Volunteering meant even more though as not only did I get to parkrun as well as setting up the course, I was able to catch up with friends after Christmas. I did the course setup with a friend I have known for quite a while through parkrun, but feel like I know better for having spent a half an hour walking round the park with a bag of cones and talking. I took a selfie with friends I caught up with at the finish to show that giving up your time doesn’t always have to feel like a wholly selfless act.
