An Oven-tful Fry-day mission
2 GoodGymers made their way to help an isolated older person in Southwark.
- Friday, 18th of May 2018
A nice example of a small deed making a big difference this lunchtime. I popped across the river on my lunch break and Paul took time out of his day off to move an oven out of Mr G's flat to the bins so he could navigate his flat more easily when discharged from hospital.
Mr G's daughter had already moved the oven into the hallway so all that was left to do was shift it into the lift and out the front door. We were all done and dusted in about 5 minutes - more productive than a Friday lunch in the pub!
