We returned to the ymca george williams house this evening as part of our monthly tasks to tackle the garden. We all took an active route to the task this evening with all either running, cycling or walking!

We walked in and immediately were a little bit disheartened, with the warm weather recently alot more growth had sprung up along with fresh litter and as we are the only ones tackling the garden once a month it felt as if we had not really been achieving much.

We quickly got to work anyway, before proceedings were promptly halted after the discovery of some poo at several points in the undergrowth which was rather unpleasant.

Poo avoided we reconvened with most choosing the safe option of removing ivy from the walls and a couple removing grass overgrowth from further down the garden away from poop hotspot!

Wilson also found a mini egyptian mummy, we decided he can live on the garden wall!

We were rewarded once firmly outside the garden with vegan cake from Hannah. We are hoping that on our next visit we will stick to tackling the plants which have encroached on the public highway.
