Rebel with a cause
1 GoodGymer made their way to help an isolated older person in Bristol.
- Saturday, 18th of April 2020
Another day, another mission - another opportunity to rebel against the order to stay at home.
It was rather wet out today again - the raindrops have clearly not got the message about social distancing as they were coming down thick and fast.
Luckily I had the incentive of helping Mr T to get me out the door. He'd sent through his list on Whatsapp in advance and with just one item (ginger tea) unavailable in his preferred brand, and a quick whatsapp conversation with him about a suitable substitue - roasted peanuts, which I would never had guessed as an equivalent :-), all the shopping was done and safely returned to Mr. T.
I found the Henleaze Tesco far more civilized in the queuing than the Eastville one last Saturday. Today everyone seemed to be keeping their distance and actually following the arrows around the store.
