Bag it up, bag it in, let me begin!
2 GoodGymers made their way 2.5km to help the Friends of Locke Park in Barnsley.

Celestial Celine and Juxtaposed James set off from Glasshouse for the all uphill run to Locke Park. It could have been a shortish run but I "decided" to take a longer diversionary route. Because of this we met the mum of our member who couldn't attend due to illness; it's a small world.
At the park we found Awesome Anne and the other Friends of Locke Park volunteers, including some new faces! They were all already hard at work trimming, lopping, weeding and sawing. Anne explained what she wanted us to do and we got stuck in...
- We used loppers and a saw to tame an unruly bush, cutting it down to size and making sure it was back on its home turf.
- We weeded the beds.
- We swept up leaves and soil from the path.
- We de-littered the bushes.
- We chopped up all the branches into manageable pieces.
- We bagged up (thanks to House of Pain: Jump Around for the title!) all the gubbins and dragged numerous full rubble bags to the lock-up area near the equipment store to be disposed of later.
After these gardening tasks, we said goodbye to the Friends for another month and headed to the top of the park for the fitness session! There were parallel bars that we did hanging tricep dips on and high bars that we did reps of pull-ups, chin-ups and leg raises on. Celine was queen of the bars! Muscles thoroughly worked out we headed back and stretched off!
