Barking up the gwro-wng tree
2 GoodGymers made their way to help an isolated older person in Southwark.

Here's what Ms R of SE15 had to say about the mission:
"I was so overwhelmed, really overwhelmed, they did phenomenal things for me, I don't know if I thanked them enough, I was like wow, please tell them thank you, thank you all! It's made such a difference for me - and for my dog!"
It was very windy this morning when Marta and I met at Ms R’s house to help tame her lovely secluded garden.
We were met with some very enthusiastic barks from Ms R’s little dog. She definitely sounded a lot scarier than she looked with her small size, cute face and waggy tail!
We got stuck in, cutting back some very impressive rose bushes and jasmine trees which had grown out of Ms R’s reach. It was tough but satisfying work getting everything back under control, and within a couple of hours we had soon filled 4 garden waste bags.
We’re both taking part in the Big Half tomorrow, so we whiled away the time talking race-day tactics... See you at the finish line Marta, have a great race!
