Being green and going green for St Paddy
15 GoodGymers made their way 6.0km to help their local community in Hammersmith and Fulham.

This week 15 of us ran 3kms to White City to help out Groundwork London - "a charity that works with communities across the UK supporting them to create better places, live and work in a greener, more sustainable way and to improve their economic prospects".
We helped them collect dumped rubbish and furniture from around the Estate. Any furniture that could be saved and recycled was taken back to our friends at The Loop - the rest was placed at official collection points. We also did a general rubbish collection to tidy up the area.
Legs tired and biceps worked, we ran the 3kms back to base. After a cool-down stretch, a number headed to the pub to celebrate St Paddy's day - a perfect way to rehydrate ;) and to wish a sad farewell but cheerful 'Bon voyage' to Michael who is heading back to Aus.
