Boardering on perfection
2 GoodGymers made their way to help an isolated older person in Southwark.
- Saturday, 5th of August 2017
On this Saturday morning, two GoodGymmers went to Duwich to give a hand to the lovely Ms H. On arrival, the lawn mower was already ready for us to use along with some basic tools. After around 2 hours of work, the grass was cut, all the plant beds weeded, all the borders properly looked after, and all the garden waste put into Ms H's brown bin.
Although Beth was really looking forward to taking apart the small bit of rotten decking, she quickly realised that not all bits were coming off easily. It will have to be done in a separate mission.
We left a Ms H really happy and even got treated to a huge hug as a reward. What a lovely way to start the weekend.
