Bramble didn’t see it coming

I ran to Aldborough Hatch patch where local group Aldborough Hatch Defence Association has been clearing an old allotment site that hasn’t been used in c.15 years or so. It’s totally overgrown with brambles.
The plan for this area is to build a Forest Garden, sustainable ecosystem of trees, shrubs and plants to produce food and nature spot for residents and wildlife alike.
After a little tour and discussion I helped to clear a small patch of some very huge brambles with what I could only call a small scythe/machete type thing:) Looking forward to being back!
