Brambling on awhile
3 GoodGymers made their way to help the Woolwich Garrison Church Trust in Greenwich.

Thanks to Haley, this was our second task at the Garrison Church after the group run a few weeks ago to shift lots of stone!
Yesterday, three GoodGymers and two parents joined Tim, the chair of the Garrison Church Trust to set out chairs, move some remaining stone and start the lengthy job of de-brambling the land outside the church. Impressive work, after Julian and Haley had just run the Charlton Parkrun. Good on ya!
Tim gave us a fascinating low down of the history of the church, and gave us a tour of the crypt - all the more entertaining as it was delivered with such passion. It was so interesting, in fact, that I forgot to take a group photo!
We will be back to tackle the brambles with reinforcements over the coming months!
Lots going on at the church this month - Tim invited us to their Chrstimas events, including their carol service today
Have a wonderful Christmas and see you in 2022 for more good deeding!
