Can't see the trees for the grass.
3 GoodGymers made their way to help the Portsmouth Residents and Visitors in Portsmouth.

Manuel, Louisa and Tracey met at King George's playing fields on a lovely sunny morning and after some quick messaging managed to locate the other volunteers. After a quick walk through some muddy fields wearing a mixture of appropriate footwear and some not so (I can feel it in my fingers, I can feel it in my toes, (the mud that is!)) we finally met Andy from #wilderportsmouth, Pauline and Chad.. We set to work encasing the trees in plastic tubes, placing a bamboo stick next to them and tying the stick to the tube with a cable tie. Sometimes the trees/bushes decided to bite back a bit but we got them all sorted. Looking forward to see the trees grow. Nice to think that these little weedy looking twigs that didn't take too long for us to plant will hopefully be thriving for years.
