Card Games
3 GoodGymers made their way 10km to help the St John the Divine in Richmond.
- Monday, 6th of December 2021
- Led by Sam Jones
St John the Divine church had asked for some help delivering Christmas cards in the roads around the big Richmond roundabout, and GoodGym was only too happy to help out.
It was a small crowd that gathered at our new meeting point of the Tap Tavern. Luckily though, the cards were not designated for delivery to specific addresses like in a previous mission - we just had to door drop the residences in a few key streets.
So the merry band of Xmas elves set off with a sack of cards, starting with the side streets off Kew Road and making quick progress through the stacks we each carried. We continued on to Church Road and the areas behind it, then divided to conquer the remaining spots on Sheen Road and Park Lane.
Card games over and pleased to have done our bit for the week, we headed off home to our Monday evenings :-)
