Chipping in at Horsenden
2 GoodGymers made their way to help their local community in Ealing.
- Saturday, 19th of January 2019
- Led by Mike C
Mike and Jenni went to Horsenden Farm to help out on their January volunteering day. We've visited Horsenden Farm a few times on GoodGym duties, so we've pretty much seen it in all seasons!
The task given to us was moving woodchip from the carpark, up to the main site for around a caravan and for around the campfire in forest school. There's lots of different things going on at the site!
After an hour and a half of moving lots of wheelbarrows up and down the hill, lots of wood chip moved, and the cutest dog (Willow!) providing an excellent distraction, it was time for a well earned brew with some of the other volunteers!
Hopefully we'll be back at the farm soon to do more good!
