Chisel Meets Lino
1 GoodGymer made their way to help the Penistone Leisure Centre in Barnsley.

I embarked on a very sweaty trail run to join the other volunteers in helping to refurbish Penistone Leisure Centre. I was tasked with helping to prise off old lino flooring in the office area to make way for new carpet tiles. Whilst being time-consuming (the lino appeared to have been stuck on with super strong glue!) it was also very satisfying! After first trying to use a giant sledgehammer pick thing I soon realised that a chisel and hammer were much better suited to the job. Looking forward to returning soon!
