Choc Ice & Neat
2 GoodGymers made their way to help an isolated older person in Bristol.
- Sunday, 29th of August 2021
It was great to team up with Pauline again as we headed over to South Bristol to help Mrs M in her garden.
Mrs M has been struggling with her health and mobility and the state of her garden has been getting her down, so we were happy to go along and cut back some brambles, move a broken fence panel, clear some ivy, move her pots so that she can get to them (and watch them grow from her window) and generally make the access through her garden a bit more manageable by cutting back the foliage that was blocking her path.
Spurred on by a choc ice treat from Mrs M, we then cleared and brushed the area around her shed, so that she can spend some time out there safely when the weather permits.
