So here we are in Lockdown 2! A very small group (five) of Brizzle GGers ran or cycled in the drizzle to carry out essential pre-winter maintenance work to Eastville Park hut.
Melanie, Pauline, Roz and Nathalie were kept busy climbing and scraping the walls before they are painted to weather proof the hut.
Meanwhile, Jason wasn't leafed out of the action! He built two leaf crates and a elf & safety HQ (AKA Santa's Grotto), which will hopefully provided a much needed smile to passers by and a fundraising opportunity for the Friends of Eastville Park. It might need a bit of work yet!
I think the first picture of Melanie requires a caption competition! Please comment below.
We had a great time, ensuring that strict social distancing rules were followed to carry out the work and helping support our mental elf!
