Close border combat
9 GoodGymers made their way to help the Malago Berry Maze in Bristol.

Last Saturday 9 goodgymers came to liberate our local berry maze from weeds that were fighting their way in around our favorite fruity bushes.
Task owner Barney likes to separate out the equipment for each job, and after a quick tussle for our weapons of choice we were tooled up and ready to battle the encroaching sprouts.
Newcomer Steve did a wonderful mowing job, giving the grass paths a professionally sharp haircut, whilst Sarah dug out crescents around the bushes, offering them some breathing room from the weeds.
Rebecca, Sara, David, and Jason took to digging weeds from the borders on the front lines, and GG veterans Paul and Clo defended the rear of the maze from the overgrowing bushes outside.
While all this was going on, task owner Jakie had set up a scarecrow sentry to watch over us, and there was a noticeable difference in how the maze looked by the time we had finished.
Top work everyone and thanks for coming along!
