Come rain or shine

No matter the weather - Goodgym is there to spread a little sunshine!

Ms A is self isolating due to the Corona virus and sadly remains fearful of heading outside. She was unable to have her prescription delivered nearby as the pharmacy services are over-stretched so Hestia and Goodgym duly stepped in!

I called Ms A in advance - I was struck and moved by how pleased she was to have someone to speak to and listen to her story as she is feeling so isolated and lonely during this time. She was incredibly grateful for the support.

While the mission was to pick up the prescription in a rainy drizzly Ealing Broadway, as she had shared in our telephone call there were some essential items that would make a big difference by helping her feel brighter, before I set off to Southall to deliver to her, I also did a little shop for her.

It was touching to see her reaction at the drop off - she was so happy and grateful. I hope it makes a difference to Ms A and if nothing else, show her that people do care especially during challenging times.
