On a surprisingly sunny Sunday morning we gathered for the monthly Great Salterns litter pick.
We met lots of grateful dog walkers and locals and found a lot less litter than on previous picks.
Interesting finds:
- a veolia environmental service Frisbee (ah the irony)
- an infant jelly shoe
- a pair of glasses with only one arm
- 3 pieces of a moped
- a buried computer which Rachel started wrestling with and Judy liberated with the fork she handily had in her car
- 400 (ish) old beer cans
- half a traffic cone which Tony repurposed into a can collecting device
- some amazing mushrooms including a puffball the size of a handball
Another GoodGym good deed as the race to 100 continues between Tony & Judy!
