Connect 4 Tasks
11 GoodGymers made their way 2.3km to help the Cafe Connect in Haringey.

12 runners ran 3km, to help prepare the new community run Tottenham Cafe Connect.
We started out heading in exactly the wrong direction, but on purpose. We were hunting for signs for the Riverfest. An event which we'd previously distributed flyers for. The smaller signs seemed to have been collected already, but we grabbed ourselves a giant banner, and carried on round to the old Bowling Green.
When we arrived Laura set out assigning small groups to the many tasks that needed doing. Painting, floor cleaning, heavy duty debrambling, and even dismantling the benches in the former changing rooms. That gave those of us in the later groups to review the recent archaeological discovery of a tape cassette library, including Now That's What I Call Music #1!
If you'd like to volunteer to help the set-up there at other times, they post regular sessions on their Facebook group.
All to soon our time was up, and we departed for a quick night round of Ultimate Frizbee, under the Down Lane spot lights. Team Red Shirts stormed to victory, all thanks to the power of our GoodGym tshirts, and nothing to do with having all the tallest members. Nope.
We then headed back for stretches, a bite to eat (and some local beers), and a surprise carrot cake from Wai!
Join us next week for Pennie's glorious return!
