Cookies and Crackers
1 GoodGymer made their way to help an isolated older person in Bristol.
- Sunday, 28th of August 2022
A lunchtime spent helping the lovely Mrs C in Fishponds with clearing her borders. She’d like to be able to grow some plants, so we spent time removing the old small stones and membrane in one of the borders, resulting in some rather heavy rubbish sacks.
It was great to spend time chatting with Mrs C about her life, family and her passion for cooking, including a break halfway through for a cup of tea and some homemade cookies and fish crackers.
Having cleared one border, we agreed that we’d tackle the rest another day and it would be great to go back and get the job done.
